Uninterrupted sleep is incredibly important, as this helps with memory, thinking and decision-making. That becomes difficult when you spend your nights tossing and turning because you’re overheating.
The solution? Nordic – a range of cooling mattress fabrics by GTA Belgium. 40% cooler than a standard polyester knit, it is especially great for hot sleepers.
What is Nordic?
Nordic fabrics are made with polyethylene yarns. These have what is called a high thermal effusivity, meaning the fabric will warm up less easily and cool down fast, even when covered with a fitted sheet. And since the cooling property is inherent to the fabric itself, it can be washed at 40 °C, without losing its functionality.
Made in-house
The polyethylene yarns are made entirely in-house in our factory in Belgium without water and with very low energy. In other words, they are as low carbon as you can get. Thanks to our innovative technology, the fabrics have a pleasant touch. What’s more is that the cooling effect is realised without chemicals nor extra finish. Safe for everyone!
